Full Field Study Project of North Pars Gas Field

North Pars Gas Field is located in shallow waters of the Persian Gulf, about 120 Km southeast of Bushehr Port. The field was discovered in 1967 by drilling well C-1. Field development plan started in 1976 but stopped due to the advent of the Islamic Revolution and subsequent Imposed War. In continuation of field development, a full field study of North Pars Gas Field was entrusted to PPZ Co. by Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) in June 2006. The main objectives of this 12-month-long were:

·         Data collection, review and database preparation

·         Reservoir characterization

·         Reservoir simulation

·         Preparation of Master Development Plan (MDP)

To carry out the project, a team of experts consisting of geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, production managers, process engineers, reservoir simulation engineers, and economists participate in these studies which were completed on schedule.
